Which type of system do you have?
Windows XP
1/3. Left click on the Start button to open your Start menu
2/3. On the bottom right of this menu willl be two buttons: "Log off" and "Turn Off Computer." Select "Turn Off Computer"

3/3. A box will appear in the middle of your screen with three options, choose "Restart"

Windows Vista
1/3. Left click on the Start button to open your Start menu
2/3. On the bottom right of this menu willl be three buttons: a power symbol, a lock pad and an arrow pointing to the right. Left click on the arrow.

3/3. A smaller menu will open beside your Start menu, choose "Restart"

Windows 7
1/3. Left click on the Start button to open your Start menu
2/3. On the bottom right of this menu willl be two buttons: "Shut down" and an arrow pointing to the right. Left click on the arrow.
